Anguilla is the most northerly of the Leeward Islands in the Eastern Caribbean. The island lies between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, some five miles north of St. Maarten/St. Martin and one hundred fifty miles east of Puerto Rico. It is comprised of several offshore islets, or cays, including Sandy Island, Dog Island, Prickley Pear Cays, Scrub Island, and Sombrero Island. In addition to glorious beaches there are caves, some of which are Arawak historic sites created by the original people on the island. There are salt ponds that have been enclosed as bird watching sites and also other areas for migratory bird watching, including rare species of birds. Goats run wild.
Whether you are touring museums or historic sites, visiting art galleries, going to the boat races, horseback riding, dancing to island bands, enjoying water based activities such as snorkeling or scuba diving (wreck dives, shore dives, mini wall dives, heritage diving), sailing and snorkeling, going to one of the spas, or just relaxing in the sun with a cool drink in your hand the days pass by at a leisurely pace. ACCURACY OF LISTINGS:
To the best of AIR's knowledge the information and photographs on the listings are accurate but are not guaranteed. Rates, availability and conditions are subject to change without notice. RENTERS must check with AIR about specific items of importance to them.

Varies from villa to villa.
RENTAL PROCEDURE:
Once a house is chosen, the rental price discussed, and the rental confirmed with the Owner or their agent, a lease or confirmation of the arrangements is immediately emailed to the Guest. Each Island and Owner has different procedures for payment so please ask when making your arrangements.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
This varies from Island to Island, and Owner to Owner, so please ask when confirming your arrangements.

Islands are surrounded by water. There are BUGS, and sometimes MOLD and MILDEW. Even the most luxurious villas are subject to nature's ways, and surprises can happen. THE OWNER, NOT ALL ISLAND RENTALS, is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of their home. Should problems occur please call the OWNER or their PROPERTY MANAGER. Unless specifically permitted or indicated, ABSOLUTELY NO ANIMALS are allowed in the villas. This includes animals belonging to visitors.
